I'm an US Air Force officer, pilot, author, business owner, and community theater thespian who happens to love community service (youth,. hospice, domestic violence, where there is a need), and missionary trips (Africa, Alaska, Mexico, New Orleans, Argentina, and counting).
I enjoy serving my country and I've traveled throughout the world as a C-130 aircrew member performing military special operations (with the famed 101st and 82nd Airborne), NASA shuttle support missions, and delivering United Nations aid to countries ravaged by war and natural disasters. I've also been privileged to teach at Mississippi Valley State University and Delta State University in the Mississippi Delta--earning a Masters in Commercial Aviation at the latter institute. Following that rewarding experience I reached for the stars by commanding operations of the the Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite constellation and intercontinental ballistic missiles. My hobbies and and interests run the gamut from ballroom dancing and sports car racing with the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) to rafting, skiing, snorkeling, skydiving, ballooning and vacationing in the arctic/antarctic circles. I've been honored as an inductee in Marquis' Who's Who in America since 2003 as well as being awarded Sertoma International's Service to Mankind Award. Still outstanding on my "to-do" list is a stint in the Alaskan bush as a pilot and missionary, serving as a Peace Corp volunteer, teaching in a inner city public school system, and finally taking on the challenge, passion and second career of a third world missionary pilot. How do I find the time and energy to accomplish so much? It's simple--God is the source of my adventures, my success , and my joy. "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us."
(-Ephesians 3:20)
